SCHOLARSHIP NOMINATIONS
THE ZAMBIA NKRUMAH LIVING THE LEGACY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
In honor and memoriam of Zambia Nkrumah White (1957-2010), JCPS middle school teacher of 27 years, we will present a scholarship opportunity for all graduating high school seniors. The Zambia Nkrumah Living the Legacy Student Scholarship will be given to two students who are an active member of our community, serving as a change agent and creating a legacy that promotes academic success and communal empowerment. An award of $500.00 will be given to each student who best meets those criteria. Recipients of this scholarship will be awarded live at the Annual Living the Legacy Gala. Honorees must be present (or have representative) on this special occasion.
Completed applications must be mailed and postmarked to the address below by: Sunday, March 19th, 2017.

THE ZAMBIA NKRUMAH LIVING THE LEGACY THE MAKEBA LEE ‘A DEFERRED DREAM’ SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The Makeba Lee “Dream Deferred” Scholarship Award will be given to one student who is involved in changing our community and creating a legacy that promotes academic success and communal empowerment. We, at River City Drum Corp, take great pleasure in presenting this educational opportunity to our community’s most giving and talented students. An award of $500.00 will be given to each student who best meets those criteria. Recipient of this scholarship will be awarded live at the Annual Living the Legacy Gala. Honorees must be present (or have representative) at the gala.
